David Booker drawings

Each object has a story to tell.

My still-life pencil drawings portray boxes and cartons, used packaging and discarded motor engine parts.

I found these discarded parts in the recycle dump for paper and steel, and depicted them simply in their seen perspective, as they are in real life. The objects are grouped together in different positions, and placed in different perspectives and points of view so that each carton and mechanical piece is a single entity, separate and independent, within its own journey.

Artists are idea-makers and, subsequently, activists through sharing.
