'RELICS drawings by David Booker'
Museum of St Secondiano Cathedral in Chiusi (Siena) ITALY
Each exhibition has a story to tell.
My first first solo exhibition was in 1983, in the main foyer of the Central Railway Station in Sydney. Since then, I show my sculptures and pencil drawings in architectural and historic sites in Italian cities of arts.
Artists are idea-makers and, subsequently, activists through sharing.
My current exhibition 'Relics' displays a selection of recent artworks, many on view for the first time and some of them site specific, alongside the Museum of St
Secondiano the Martyr Cathedral permanent collection in Chiusi (Siena).
The Museum of the Cathedral houses the archaeological finds and works of art coming from the catacombs and churches of the diocesan territory, dating from the II century to the
XX century. It is located in the heart of old Chiusi, just beside the St Secondiano the Martyr Cathedral and includes a stunning underground etruscan Labyrinth.
The exhibition is open to the public until 9 July 2023. It is open from Monday to Sunday from 10.15 to 12.45 and on Saturday,
Sunday and all public holidays from 10.15 to 12.45 and from 14.30 to 17.00.
